A Burning Question

In the United States the deceased were

traditionally buried in cemetery graves.

In the 1980's, cremation overtook burial in terms

of popularity. While now less popular, burials are still the

primary choice for many people in the U.S. Unfortunately, this method of disposition is costly.

Christians in Africa and Asia practice burial.

However, many Christians in the Westen hemisphere

choose cremation because it is less expensive. Cremation

has created some issues among Hindu- converted

Christians in America. This sensitive situation must be

handled with Christian love and prayer.
