A Brief History of the Twentieth Century

Is it possible to summarize an entire century by explaining the thirty most important events that occurred during that period of time? Can one look to the next century and understand it better by knowing the past?

" Indeed, to see forward, we have to look back. This book will summarize thirty seminal events of the twentieth century, in an effort to understand the twenty-first.
