Recently widowed, Mike Destep loses his job and is on life's down escalator when fate deals him a winning lottery ticket. He sets out to mend his broken family, but becomes the target of unknown watchers and is recruited to help a shadowy government agency . Just as his life seems to settle down, he's kidnapped by gangsters enlisted by a traitorous family member who grabs for control of his fortune. Mike is severely injured and his time is running out.
