16-16's

This book came out of nowhere and everywhere! I was watching an interview with rapper and culture curator, Westside Gunn of Griselda, and he talked about making an album in about 3 or 4 days. I was like YO! that's the kind of internal hustle that I need to have. I mean, I know that artists like Black Thought, Wise Intelligent, Jay Z, Killah Priest, NAS, TUPAC (Rest in Paradise), KRS-ONE create masterpieces with that level of speed and quality. And I'm sure hundreds of other incredible artists of all genre's do the same on a regular basis. So, I challenged myself to make it happen on my end. I wrote this book in 3 days. I have a 9 to 5 so it's a little difficult to write when I want to, but no excuses, I got the shit done.

16-16's is exactly that. 16 verses with 16 bars per verse. It's composed of 2 sections. 8 "The Ways of Death" and 8 "The Ways of Life". It's a balanced perspective on where we're at as a society and where I'm at as a man. We have a choice on how all this is going to play out in this world. I know where I'm at with it, and I'm living my purpose. So, I'm going to stop typing and let you get to it.
