Kai thought he was just a normal kid, with a normal pet dog, and a normal father. Follow Kai as he leaves Earth behind and starts to discover the truth about himself and his family. In this first book of the series, Kai and his pet "dog" travel to Planet 0404 and take their first steps on their quest to stop Lucifer.

Philosophy and Features

"Kai and Planet 0404" is a short novel created with TPRS/CI in mind. That being said it, I hope it will be a useful resource for anyone looking for study/reading materials in Japanese. The key features of the book are:

51 pages long Only uses approximately 112 unique words* Glossary includes every word in the book (includes separate entry for each different verb conjugation used) All Kanji and Katakana has furigana included (small hiragana characters to show pronunciation) Written mostly in polite (masu) form, with casual form included as required to make it natural. Checked by multiple native speakers to ensure accuracy *The unique word count does not include particles, or Katakana(words taken from English). Multiple conjugations of the same verb are only counted as 1 unique word. There is some judgement involved in counting "unique" words. This number represents my honest effort to provide an accurate count, but others may come to a slightly higher or lower number.
