They say you only live once, so why not live fast, take risks, and worry about the fallout later?

Mexico was supposed to be an escape, not a sentence. Yet here I am, six hours out, staring at the open ocean with a bottle of Corona in hand and a pile of memories I'd rather forget. The chaos of the past week clings to me like salt on my skin-a whirlwind of bad choices, near-death experiences, and a boatload of cash I'm not sure I'll live long enough to spend.

Adventure? Sure, I asked for it. But this? This is survival.

The sun sets, the waves rise, and somewhere out there, the next storm is waiting. But for now, I'm alive, free, and a little richer than I should be.
