Kashmir-e-Taliban 2032

This novel unfolds as a political fantasy in a world simmering with heightened political tensions, with India finding itself at the epicentre of an elaborate conspiracy involving its neighbouring adversaries, Pakistan and Afghanistan (represented by the Taliban). The narrative kicks off with a celebrity from the ruling party of India meeting a mysterious demise in an airplane accident, sparking accusations of a conspiracy orchestrated by the opposition.

In the midst of the ensuing turmoil, riots erupt across India, fuelled by public anger and mistrust. Tragically, a prominent opposition leader and their entire family are ruthlessly murdered, burned alive, exacerbating the already profound divide within the nation. This tragic event leads to a collapse of the law-and-order situation, providing an opportune moment for Pakistan and Taliban forces to launch a coordinated attack on the coveted Kashmir province. Their aim is to occupy it and reshape the region's geopolitical landscape.

With India's sovereignty hanging in the balance, the world watches as the nation grapples with its most significant challenge since gaining independence. At the heart of this tumultuous narrative is Mr. Buddhadev Trital, the protagonist and Chief National Security Advisor (NSA) to the government of India. Twenty years prior, Trital was a spy in Pakistan, where he had a clandestine love affair.

Fast forward to the year 2032, and Trital is faced with the formidable task of navigating the country through this challenging crisis.
