This is a book of possible itineraries around the city of Girona, which owes as much to the paths forged by traditions as it does to the random meanderings triggered by memories. When all is said and done, a city is the sum total of the wandering passions that shapes each visitor as they walk. Whether you are a local or an incomer, this does not substantially alter the certainty that any landscape -even the ones that are under- pinned by such well-established forms as historic centres -only comes to life through the experience of being there.
